Rocca degli Alberti

This fortress stands in the heart of the Metalliferous hills and on the border with the province of Pisa, in Monterotondo Marittimo, which bears strong witness to the medieval past of the town. The structure, of which only a few traces remain, is inserted into the context of the public park; many traces of the walls and medieval past of the town have been englobed into the urban fabric of the village.
