Chiesa di San Lorenzo

This church was originally built during the Middle Ages and renovated in the 16th and 17th centuries. The building has a Latin cross plan with a single nave and features a barrel vault with lunettes connected with pilasters in Ionic order. Inside, exquisite paintings such as the panel of the Madonna and Child Enthroned with Angels, by a master painter of the early 16th century known as the Master of Monterotondo Marittimo or of Pomarance.
